You stick a QR code label on each box. The QR code links to a web page showing the box name, item count, and photos of every item inside. To scan, anyone just opens their phone camera, points it at the QR code, and taps the notification. No app download needed for the viewer.
The person who creates the labels uses GotItBoxed to photograph items and generate the QR codes. But anyone who scans them just needs a phone with a camera.
Setting up scannable boxes
1. Download GotItBoxed (iPhone, Android, or web).
2. Create a box and name it (e.g., "Kitchen — appliances").
3. Add items by taking photos. One tap per item.
4. Tap the QR code icon to generate a label.
5. Print the label and stick it on the box.
That's it. The box is now scannable. Anyone who scans the QR code sees the full contents with photos.
